Ms. Roby applies her diverse leadership experience in directing and developing the future of the organization. Under her leadership the organization has grown more than 70% since it’s inception in 2012.
A native of Los Angeles, Ms. Roby has worked tirelessly in the community for many years. She is a seasoned executive and operations professional well versed in community service, project management, sales operations, marketing and event planning.
Ms. Roby sits on the Executive Board of Southern California Cease Fire, she is the Treasurer for Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) International Society, and a member of Californian's for Safety & Justice.
Ms. Roby holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, an associate’s degree from Platt Junior College, and is an alumnus of Los Angeles African American Women in Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI).
Barbara Jett is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Phenomenal Angels of the Community, an organization that provide youth support, mentoring and training opportunities that provide cultural enrichment, effective communication, civic engagement, educational enhancement and individual development. Ms. Jett is responsible for the delivery and operations of the organization.
Through her love for the community and potential to inspire change. She is a trained experienced professional Intervention Specialist specializing in community service, crisis intervention, case management and street mediation. She has worked in the non-profit community for many years.
Miss. Jett developed a strong sense of devotion for the non-profit sector when she noticed that a change was needed in the community in which she was raised. She has a deep appreciation for people and is diligent in working to improve the quality of life.
Miss. Jett is an active member in her community. She is on the leadership team and is an instructor for Professional Community Intervention Training Institute (PCITI). She is a member of the Community Action for Peace, and the Westmont/Athens Task Force, Watts Gang Task Force
Miss. Jett is a graduate of Washington Prep and studied at Los Angeles Southwest College. She is a certified graduate of the Professional Community Intervention Training Institute. Additionally, she has received certificates from the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, City of Los Angeles Fire Department, Maximum Force Enterprises, The Chicago School of Psychology, Yuba College, Leo Chesney Center of Live Oaks and Los Angeles Office of Education.
Keith Scott is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Phenomenal Angels of the Community (PAC), an organization that provide youth support, mentoring and training opportunities that provide cultural enrichment, effective communication, civic engagement, educational enhancement and individual development. Mr. Scott is responsible for managing the financial strategy and health of the organization, maintaining the high level of integrity for which PAC is known.
In 2015, Mr. Scott joined Phenomenal Angels becoming the first PAC Man to join the executive branch of the organization bringing his expertise in finance and partnership development. He is the owner of Woody’s Handyman Service.
Previously, from 2008 - 2014, Mr. Scott was the Chief Administration Officer (CAO) for Detours Mentoring Group, Inc. Brought together by a common belief that many youths in the community lacked meaningful academics, direction and guidance, Mr. Scott partnered with founder, Ben Owens and president, Rick Lawson to grow the program. His role included long range planning, budgeting and partnership development. During his tenure at Detours, Mr. Scott developed partnerships with the City of Compton and the City of Torrance community service programs, the Long Beach Food Bank, Gardena One Stop Center and Phantom Fireworks.
Mr. Scott is experienced in computer technology, accounting/bookkeeping, administration, management and organization.
Phatara Chavis is a Director at Phenomenal Angels of the Community (PAC), an organization that provide youth support, mentoring and training opportunities that provide cultural enrichment, effective communication, civic engagement, educational enhancement and individual development.
Ms. Chavis was born in Los Angeles but raised in the South Bay, supporting the mission and vision of PAC comes natural for her. She started with PAC in 2014 as a sponsor and volunteer for the Body Image Activity. She is the first recipient of the Pink Diamond Award. The Pink Diamond Award is given to the PAC Team Member who has shown extraordinary commitment and support to Phenomenal Angels of the Community.
This team member goes the distance, exceeds expectations, is eager to jump in where needed and is most importantly a team player.
Ms. Chavis is one of the facilitators in the Self Esteem/Body Image series and she is the lead for the Body Image Activity. Through fundraising, special event planning and program support she understands that her duty of care goes far beyond the eye.
An entrepreneur for over 18 years, Ms. Chavis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in small business with a minor in entrepreneurship. She has been serving her community for over a decade and is recognized by the City of Los Angeles for her diligence. She is dedicated to change and committed to giving back.
